We constantly strive for excellence in quality and customer service. Due to the custom nature of many of our projects, we encourage you to ask as many questions as needed prior to placing an order. We always work for customer satisfaction, however you will find that there are some limitations in what kinds of products and services can be returned, refunded, or exchanged.

Products and Items

Most packaged retail products or items returned within 14 days from the date of purchase, and with the original receipt, are eligible for refund or exchange. Returned or exchanged items must be in like-new condition, with packaging unopened and fully intact. We reserve the right to deny a return or exchange at our discretion.

Refunds are issued by the original payment method used. Refunds for cash purchases over $50 will be paid by check within 30 days.

Sensitive Products: Due to the perishable and sensitive nature of the items, film, darkroom paper, and any custom or specially ordered items are not returnable, refundable, or exchangeable under any circumstance.

Services

Nonrefundable: Digitizing services such as photo restoration, retouching, editing, compositing, flatbed scanning, film scanning, print scanning, film transfer, video transfer, audio transfer, digital capture, and art reproduction are non-refundable except in instances where the service has not actually yet been performed at the time of inquiry. No warranty is made as to the result of digitizing services — the service being purchased covers our time, expertise, and use of specialized equipment to convert analog media into a digital format.

Exchanges, Revisions, and Remakes: Digital services as listed above may, at our discretion, be reprocessed in instances where the original service is found to be defective in nature or workmanship. Customer must notify the store at the time of pickup and final payment, or at the discretion of the store, within 24 hours of receipt.

Limit of Liability: All analog media are by nature fragile, so it is possible that damage may occur during the digitizing process. Photosource and its representatives are not liable for damage to original media as a result of handling or processing during digitizing services ordered by customer.

Receipt of Goods: Customer agrees that by making complete payment and receiving goods and/or services paid for, services have been performed as agreed upon and to complete satisfaction.
