WHICH FILM?

Color slide film or color print film, which should you use? It depends upon the intended use of the finished image. When the final image is destined for commercial use, particularly for four color press reproduction, the preferred film is color slide. (In some rare cases, a digital format is acceptable.)

When the end product is to be a color print, whether for a client, friend or family member, color print film is the only choice. Whichever is used, the image must be correctly exposed and focused.
