A survey on films used by nature
photographers was completed recently by 125 participants
on the WWW Apogee Photo Directory and Bob Grytten's F/8
and Being There newsletter. The photographers selected
their favorite films in this order: Velvia, Sensia,
Provia, TMax, K Royal Gold (100/200), Lumiere 100, Tmax
3200, Kodachrome 64. This kind of informal survey is much
like Talk Radio, or like a town meeting airing parochial
views. However, this valuable list of film favorites may
be helpful input in your pursuit of nature photography.
