TIME Inc. produces 28 publications including Time, People, Sports Illustrated, Fortune, Money, and Entertainment Weekly. This month, their flagship magazine, Life, is switching entirely to computer-to-plate operation (all digital). On their first try last Spring (May 12th) they were successful in their trial run. They are five months ahead of their planned launch into digital. Time expects their major publications will be all digital by the end of the year. Will this affect you, the photo supplier? Not at all. You will continue to supply film via your usual method. Time Inc. will handle the digitation specs and process.
