STOLEN PHOTOS - the old-fashioned way. New York
photographer Sy Rubin, reports that 1800 black-and-white
photographs

were stolen from boxes in his basement studio
last November. They represent 25 years of work. "The time,
emotional and monetary loss are enormous," Rubin said in a
news release.
The New York City Police Department has not come up
with any leads so Rubin is appealing to the public.
Any information or questions can be directed to him
at (212) 255-1403 or e-mail:
OddDogs@aol.com. A reward
will be made for information leading to the return of the
photographs.
In times where cybertheft of photos has taken over as
the primary concern, we forget that losing your photos to
thievery the old-fashioned way can still happen, and be
just as devastating.
