BETTER SCANS. More than 95 percent of photobuyers accept digital previews, and 80 percent accept digital submissions - but only if the scans are good enough. A good way to get up to speed on scanning is to read Some Scanning Tips, by Wayne Fulton. If nothing else, read Chapter 20, "A Simple Way to Get Better Scan." You can read much of the book for free on Fulton's Web site at http://www.scantips.com , or order the 240 page bound version from him for $23.95 plus shipping.
