FREE. Many of your photos may be eligible for distribution
through on-line and CD-ROM Clip Art disk services. How
they work: The company will review your photos and select
what they can use (transparencies or digital, only -- no
prints). Two standard ways of compensation: 1.) They offer
you a flat payment for copyright ownership of your image.
2.) They offer you a small royalty every time a disk is
sold that has one or more of your photos on it. It's up to
you to do the negotiating. Their pitch: "Your pictures are
just gathering dust in your files. Why not get them out
working for you?" For a free current list of Clip Art
companies, write to us. On the envelope, write "Royalty
Free list." Include a self-addressed business size (#10)
envelope with two first-class stamps affixed. Web surfers:
