BOSTON TERRORIST SUSPECT WAS A BOXER

A photo essay in 2010 containing pictures of Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the Boston terrorist suspect, was published by a graduate student, Johannes Hirn, at Boston University in the local university magazine. Recently, reporters used Hirn’s photo captions to profile Tsarnaev. A number of media outlets have also copied and distributed Hirn’s photos without permission. He has since removed them from a Photoshelter site. Hirn announced that Barcroft Media–a UK-based licenser of editorial content–is the exclusive distributor of the images.

Farm photography would be off limits if Penna. measure passes...

Mary Wilson: “Activists are sounding alarms over a Pennsylvania House proposal that hasn't seen much action to date. The measure would make it a felony to take photos, as well as audio or video recordings of a farm.” SOURCE: http://www.newsworks.org/index.php/
TAKEAWAY: PhotoSource International is HQ'd in farm country, in fact I live on a farm. I can understand why farmers nationwide would not want their property to be photographed. Pesticides, herbicides and weed destroying liquids and insecticides are always being used in the wrong way that negatively affects birds, animals and humans. Growth-enhancing "pharms" are used all the time, bringing fast profits to modern big-time farmers. Trouble is, these products go into the ground water (aquifer) and re-appear in lakes and local nearby drinking water. We here at PSI are organic farmers and use no harmful chemicals. You are welcome to photograph us anytime to want. Nothing to hide. -RE
